There is a tale that tells of a great King, who lived and reigned over his Kingdom for one hundred years.

On his hundredth anniversary feast, his most beloved son, stabbed the King in the heart; killing him as he sat idle on his throne.

Upon being taken by Saint Peter to meet God for judgment, the King – stricken with grief – dropped to his knees before the Lord,

“My heavenly father, I beg of you, please tell me why my own son took my life?”

God looked down at the King with a mighty laugh,

“Sooner or later” he replied, “enough is enough”.
